    <content type="html">Interesting.  So do you still feel like Ruby or Python offer no real development advantages?  Or would advantages show up more after an initial implementation when things have to be changed or not?  Just wondering if you&apos;ve gained in additional insights along the way.  Obviously, it&apos;s not a real study since you didn&apos;t actually write the other packages but I&apos;d still be interested to hear more of your thoughts on this.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;How long did it really take?  Any estimate as to the  overall effort?</content>

    <content type="html">I feel that there are advantages and disadvantages of Java, Ruby and Python.  Ruby and Python can allow you to build a site by writing less code, but as the site gets more complex, it can be handled.  Take a screen like this for example:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;http://stripes.mc4j.org/confluence/download/attachments/525/bulkedit2.png&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;How would you build the controller for that in Rails or Django?  I think it would be harder to do than the example code given on this page:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;http://stripes.mc4j.org/confluence/display/stripes/Sample+Application&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;But, you may not have to do complex form handling like that, so then Rails or Django might be a good choice.</content>
